Sorry this is a day late, yesterday ended up being a hectic day.
The most exciting thing in Jackson's life this week was definitely the hiking trip on Mt. Lemmon. But there were lots of other dogs on the trail and plenty of people who wanted to meet him and that was thrilling. There were also many lizards to chase and there were even a few squirrels! (We don't seem to have squirrels down in the valley). So here are some of the other pictures that were taken on the trip.
(he chased some creature up this fallen tree and was as nimble as a cat so now he is "cat-dog")
("mom stop taking pictures, it's embarrassing")
Other than that, he was able to go to the park near the house pretty much every night when Ben got back. He gets to go play fetch, chase a few things, and then end the night going down the slide! This is a new discovery, but Jackson seems to love going down the slide. At first it was just the simple straight slide, but now he has ventured to the curved slide. He very willingly runs up the playground steps and then runs/jumps/slides down the slide.
As many of you know, Jackson has struggled with skin issues ever since we got him and has scratched and chewed until he is raw and the vets couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. I am pleased to say that the itching has definitely minimized! We're trying him on another food and we can only give him that for two months, but it's possible that the food and maybe the dry desert air have started helping!
And, here is a throwback from Jackson's days in Atlanta playing in the river! It is CRAZY how much this little stud has grown!
