I think it is most appropriate to start the day with a little throwback of the most precious pup. Here he is shortly after we got him. He was so tiny and precious and cuddly!
(this was the moment when Ben was probably questioning ever letting me make decisions ever again)
So this week Jackson got to go on an adventure (as stated in the other post, he realized he doesn't like off roading, makes it hard for him to nap). He learned that looking out the back window of the car is quite fun though.
And, of course, he loves getting out of the car to explore his kingdom.
Jackson also has also made more friends in the neighborhood. Everyone wants to know if he's a lab and how old he is. He looks at them with the big pup eyes and then we have new friends! On these walks, Jackson has also found his favorite yard to go to the bathroom in. It doesn't happen to be our yard..
Jackson has been pretty spoiled since arriving to Tucson and has had the egg crate from my old bed as his place in the living room. He loved it, but one day he loved it too much.

Lastly, it would seem that Jackson loves penguins just as much as his mother. Jackson has taken charge of two penguins and they are his best friends these days. He carts them around the house, even though one of them is almost as big as he is.

Other than that, Jackson loves getting up with Ben in the morning and believes that 5:30 am is the best time of the day to be playful. This lasts until 7:00 am and then he crashes. He also knows what it means when I put on my tennis shoes and gets really excited to go for a run around the neighborhood. But his absolute favorite part of the day is still with Ben comes home and they get to go to the park to play fetch.
